Practice fees and services information

We would like to welcome you to our practice and provide you with some information

             

 

We are a private billing practice, our fees vary slightly depending on your health needs

​

​

​

At present, our practice fees are as follows:

 

Standard consultation $90

​

​

Long consultation $135

 

​

Adults who hold a concession card will be bulk-billed provided the concession card is presented to reception

​

Children under 16 years will be bulk-billed

​

We offer a skin cancer clinic service

A skin check is $90 for all patients

A skin biopsy is $65 on top of the fee for the skin check

A minor procedure for skin lesion or skin cancer removal $100 above Medicare rebate ie. out of pocket expense

Dr Carlson also performs carpal tunnel release, the fee for this procedure is $400​

All of the above fees have a Medicare rebate

​

A repeat prescription and repeat referral request are charged at a rate of $30

with no medicare rebate available for these fees

​

​

Patients with chronic and complex medical conditions may qualify for care planning with 3 monthly reviews

 

​

​

Other procedures such as wound care, ECG, spirometry and medicals may attract additional charges which will be discussed at time of booking

​

For patients who are over the age of 75 we encourage you to have an annual Health Assessment with our

Practice Nurse. This service will be bulk billed, as well as your routine consultations (with the exception of skin cancer treatments) for the following twelve months. If you prefer not to have a Health Assessment our standard fees apply
